f+ f+ stands for many things. It is a philosophy, a name given to a way of being. It’s very existence a contradiction, It is the upside of disappointment, a positive spin on a failing grade. It represents success within oneself despite what the majority may label it. f+ is a definitive spirit, mind, and voice of that which by other’s standards may not be passing but is a personal success to the only ones that really matter in the end. Follow your own road, and let the people talk behind your back, because you will always lead the way. josh pearce is a 24 year old Oregonian recently transplanted into the scorching sands of Arizona. Over the past 7 years or so, josh has been developing an entire, growing universe populated with a menagerie of vibrant creatures and characters, even the clouds in his world are unique and alive. Josh considers this world a parallel dimension to our own, a carnival mirror that show’s the growth and insight of life's unpredictable journey. It is just recently that josh has decided to start sharing this world with others as it continues to mature and develop into a living, breathing body of work. Although he dabbles with just about anything he can get his hands on, josh’s main medium is watercolor and graphite. He appreciates the weight and tone of a pencil line and the layers you can produce in conjunction with the paper itself. josh likes to use "every crayon in the box" flirting with a wide spectrum of colors in most of the pieces he creates. Each color is very meaningful in the world of f+, having a direct relationship to emotions and feelings right down to the most subtle hue. |
